Scrapbook Video Tutorial 7-31-09

Hello Scrapbookers!

Thank you for joining me for another Scrapbook Video Tutorial. This week's layout is a 12x12 layout with one photo. The paper used for this layout is by Basic Grey from the Lime Rickey and Lemonade paper collection. These one photo pages are really challenging for me because I just love scrapbooking 2, 3 or 4 photos. This week's layout was quick. I was able to fit it in one video. Enjoy!

FREE SVG Monday: Sweet Treats

Hello Scrapbookers!

Here is this week's FREE SVG file. The SVG file is used with the SCAL (Sure Cuts A Lot) program to cut shapes with your Cricut machine. If you have any questions please leave a comment.

We are half way through the summer. With the heat you may have taken the family out for some ice cream or popsicles. Well if you took pictures (which every scrapbooker does) then these sweet treats will be great on your layout.

Click here to download your FREE SVG file. The files do not contain the sprinkles. Simply use stickles, crystals or other embellishments to get the same effect.

If you would like to try or purchase SCAL click here. There is a free trial download available. The software is compatible with Mac and PC.

If you have suggestions for future SVG files leave me a comment. Thanks for visiting and remember to subscribe or follow my blog to receive updates whenever I post something new.

Hello Scrapbookers!

Welcome to another video tutorial! This week's layout was created for my best friend Anne. She gave me some paper and pictures of her beautiful daughter Rachel and I was happy to take on the challenge.

FREE SVG Monday: Fireworks

Hello Scrapbookers!

Here is this week's FREE SVG file. Every monday I will try to wow you with a brand new, original SVG file. For those of you who are wondering what SVG means it is Scalable Vector Graphics. These are the type of files that the SCAL (Sure Cuts A Lot) program uses to cut shapes with your Cricut machine. If you have any questions please leave a comment.

Since we just celebrated the Fourth of July I thought fireworks would be a great design idea. Enjoy!

Scrapbook Video Tutorial 7-17-09

Hello Scrapbookers!

Here is this week's layout tutorial. It is a page that is long over due. It is a layout of my son's first Christmas and he is 6 years old. That may bother some people but I like going back and forth so I don't get creatively stuck. It also helps me not to have to work so hard sometimes. I can do a "girly" page for my daughter and then go "back in time" when my son was the same age as my daughter is now and create a boy page using different embellishments and paper.

Scrapbook Video Tutorial 7-8-09

Hello Scrapbookers!

Here is this week's layout tutorial. Beginning this week I will be uploading two videos per scrapbook layout tutorial. YouTube allows 10 minute video uploads and that is just way too little time to complete a layout even after I edit the movie. Also in the past I have received comments that the videos are preferred in real time and with explanations. So in order to do that splitting up the scrapbook layout tutorial is the best option. Enjoy this week's videos. And as always if you have any concerns or suggestions leave me a comment.
